Boon Chuan is a Senior Consultant at KC Training & Consultant. He has 20 years of experience in the financial markets, specializing in the foreign exchange, money markets and fixed income instruments. Boon Chuan is able to deliver engaging training programs, drawing on his past experience to enable participants to gain useful insights and knowledge of financial products.

Boon Chuan was Assistant Vice President at Overseas Union Bank’s global markets division, focusing on foreign exchange, commodities and futures trading strategies. His expertise extends to foreign exchange technical analysis. His interaction with clients provided opportunities to partner them in trading advisory and risk management.

Boon Chuan continued his career with VTB Bank Europe (former Moscow Narodny Bank) as Senior Trader, Proprietary Trading where he leveraged on his expertise to manage the bank’s foreign exchange budget in all currency pairs, including options trading.

Fluent in English and Mandarin, Boon Chuan was the principal trainer in Overseas Union Bank’s treasury training program. An energetic facilitator, Boon Chuan is passionate about learning and development. From fundamentals to complex structures, from seasoned bankers to non-banking professionals, Boon Chuan is able to leverage on his extensive knowledge to develop and facilitate impactful programs at all levels. He focuses on helping participants gain a practical understanding of the dynamics of financial products to enable them to excel in their job roles.

Chong Theng is a Senior Consultant at KC Training & Consulting. With over 30 years of banking experience, he started his career in Citicorp in 1980 as a management associate and supported the Relationship Managers as a credit analyst for their proposals. He was promoted to Vice President Structured Finance/Value Investing in Citibank Singapore. Chong Theng joined Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) as Senior Manager Credit & Planning Business Banking and Senior Manager Banking Group for Globals and Conglomerates, Singapore Branch. He headed up the RM team responsible for Global Corporates and Conglomerates in Singapore which handled about 200 of SCB top customers in Singapore for their banking products and services. Chong Theng moved on to take up the role of Senior Vice President Head of Corporate & Capital Markets Division, ABN AMRO Singapore Branch from 1995 to 2000, responsible for the entire corporate, trade and commodity finance, middle market and offshore banking team comprising 30 – 35 relationships managers. He progressed to OCBC Bank where he was Senior Vice President Head of Wholesale Corporates, responsible for the top 400 – 500 of OCBC’s customers. Chong Theng took up the position of General Manager Singapore Branch, Rabobank from 2005 - 2009. He was responsible for entire Singapore branch of 166 staff with direct and indirect profit and loss responsibility for all the following business units i.e. Trade & Commodity Finance and Corporate and Investment Banking, Food and Agricultural Research and Advisory and Global Financial Markets covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.
